Armed Response
The Leopards Hill Neighborhood Watch Association partners with the Zambia Police to provide rapid armed response services in the event of a potential security threat. Our armed response teams are strategically located within the neighborhood to ensure a fast and effective reaction to alarms or distress calls. This service offers peace of mind for residents, knowing that professional help is close by when they need it most.
Neighbourhood Patrols
To deter crime and ensure the safety of all residents, we offer patrol services from 18:00 to 06:00 daily. Our highly visible patrol teams regularly monitor the area, providing a constant security presence. This includes vehicle patrols through the neighborhood’s streets, parks, and public spaces, keeping a vigilant eye on any suspicious activity and offering immediate support to those in need. Our members are not required or expected to conduct patrols personally.
Collaboration with the Zambia Police Service
The Leopards Hill Neighborhood Watch Association works closely with local law enforcement to enhance security efforts and provide a seamless response to incidents. Through regular communication, coordinated patrols, and information sharing, we aim to create a safer environment for everyone. Our collaboration allows for a more robust response to crime and improves community trust in law enforcement initiatives.
Community Engagement and Awareness
The Leopards Hill Neighborhood Watch Association prioritises building a connected and informed community. Through regular meetings and updates, we encourage residents to participate actively in neighborhood safety initiatives. This includes sharing information on recent incidents, discussing security improvements, and gathering feedback from residents. By fostering a sense of community and collaboration, we empower residents to stay vigilant and engaged, creating a supportive environment that enhances overall neighborhood security.
Membership Rates
For 2025, the Leopards Hill Neighborhood Watch association will introduce updated member rates to ensure sustainable, high-quality services while keeping fees affordable for all residents. The new rates cover essential security features like patrol services and armed response. Membership rates are offered on an annual basis. The funds raised through membership fees directly support operational costs, technological upgrades, and expanded collaboration with local law enforcement, enabling the association to maintain a safe and secure environment for all residents.
Current 2024 Rates:

Household Membership: K 3,000 per year

Retired Membership (over 65): K 1,500 per year

Single Lady Membership: K 1,500 per year
